I’m going to start this review off by saying I love this game, because it’s so true. It’s one of my favorite iPhone games like ever. I really haven’t seen a game like this, and I think that’s why I like it so much. It doesn’t feel like I’ve played it somewhere else under a different name like a lot of iPhone games I’ve played.
Anyway, the premise to this one goes something like this. You are a white stickdude (named Mr.AahH?) who has an obsession with swinging across ropes to platforms of varying size. The object of the game is to do just that, seeing how far you can make it without missing too many platforms. You get more points if you land in the center (a nice sound affect will play, and the words “JUST!!” will appear making you feel very warm inside) and you get less the closer you are to the edges of the platform when you land. Over time, the platforms get smaller in width, and things like gravity and wind will come into play. This makes it a challenge for you to really predict where you will land.
As you can probably imagine, this game is terribly addicting. It’s pretty casual and simple, and that’s why I like it so much. It looks good, has nice and easy controls with almost no learning curve. If you’re looking for another simple time-killer for your iPhone and you don’t have this one yet, seriously buy it. It’s a dollar and it will provide you with lots of fun on the can, on the bus, or anywhere else for that matter.
